Unfortunately we have a few people who used to drive the group forward who have taken Rob's advice. First they stopped working, then they decided that co-housing is not for them. At this stage I've done the former and am close to changing my attitude as well, from "do the work or get out" to "cohousing is not for me". Rob's advice only works if everyone is trapped in the group. Cohousing relies on people having a huge amount of money tied up in their property that they can't easily extract. Which kind of works once you're established, but for groups trying to build a cohousing community the coercive power is not there. Moz
