Green is also nicer than red — and smarter because red means stop, don't do 
this. Mixed message.

Unless the sign is on a stairway, I don't think the running person would be 
effective.

I think other contractors come in late in the process as well and decide the 
plans are too complicated and they do just do something else. Too bad if you 
don't like it. And often a small measurement mis calculated by a previous 
contractor throws every one else off.
