Interesting -- I read this article in print in my local newspaper, and from that, it didn't sound as though the developers planned to live in the community or that community members were doing the planning -- I thought it was totally developer-driven. Hence my qualifier. I looked up the online link to send to Cohousing-L but I didn't read the online version. So there's more to the story than the (presumably edited for space) version that I was reacting to.
