Someone is planning a small project in Lakeland, FL that they are calling cohousing -- it looks like a different variety of cohousing, maybe to the point where it really isn't cohousing. The target audience is half senior citizens and half people with disabilities, only 12 units. The developer's goal is to combat loneliness in these two groups. There's an article about it in the Tampa Bay TImes: https://www.tampabay.com/life-culture/2021/11/26/to-fight-loneliness-tampa-bay-seniors-to-give-cohousing-a-try/ The article calls cohousing a radical housing model. Hmm. I wonder what the developer told the reporter. Muriel @ Shadowlake Village in Blacksburg
