Yes, Cohousing is generally market rate housing and the SF bay area is one of 
the most expensive areas in the country as far as housing and much else is 
concerned so not good for bargain hunters.  It is a wonderful place to live for

It's just sad that we all want to have more coho and can't seem to make it
affordable for each other.  Speaks a lot to the systems we have
collectively built, money, governance, and capitalism ...not very
beneficial to humans, making forislated existences instead of collective,
connected, communities.  Just lamenting, not criticizing.
