Even more than "not useful," they are terms that will be applied to every member of the community by some other member at some point, probably monthly. Certainly annually.
For most thinking people, any meaningful experience of community will include conflict and frustration, whether it is expressed or ignored. Changing the people will not cure that. Only conflict produces change. "Conflict" doesn't mean war, it means that 1 does not agree with 2 and it is producing "friction," a more descriptive word for the effects of conflict.
