Hi all Our cohousing community is in the design stage and right now I am thinking about enclosed yards for dog owners. Is this something that you have in your plans? As a dog owner, I would personally find it very difficult to have an easy quality of life if I didn't have the ability to let my dogs out for their first pee just before my morning coffee. And our pet policy doesn't allow dogs to run free in the Common Green outside our front doors. I wouldn't want this anyway. There won't be a back yard as no back doors for passive house requirements. Eager to hear how other cohousing communities deal with this issue.
