Cohousing-L Mailing List: Balancing Children and Creating Cohousing

Our group has many families with children. We are currently struggling
with the issue of how to balance the needs of our children and the time
it takes to create cohousing. We don't even have a site yet. I have a
3-year old son and keep wondering whether it be better to forget about
cohousing for now and spend more time with him.

I am interested in hearing from families currently involved in cohousing
design about how they address this issue. I am also interested in
hearing from families in completed communities what changes in your
children's lives makes the time you spent worthwhile.
