The fact that one is more hours than the other is not the correct > measure of its value to yourself or to the community. I do remember this, Rob, from earlier conversations on this issue. I have actually been doing this and it works great for me. I tend to do a lot of work for the community but it is also stuff I want to do and want done. The only time I find myself resenting what others are doing or not doing is when I find myself doing more than I want to do or doing something I don't enjoy. So whenever I start questioning "What is so and so doing?" I stop to figure out what I am unhappy about and what I can stop doing. Full stops are not easy but they seem to be necessary before someone else will pick up the work. Sometimes I do get unhappy over things not being done that are outside my ability to do (only one person can deal with the management company who can deal with the trash company, etc.) but even these do not bother me as long as I keep myself from either overworking or shirking in the areas where I can make a difference. Of course, everything will have to be done over again because it won't be done right but getting it done wrong has become the standard first step in getting it done at all. _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
