I am not arguing that everyone should do everything, but I am thinking that perhaps there is a good reason to keep the cooking/eating issue separate from the rest. As I mentioned in my previous posting, maybe there are exceptions, but generally speaking it seems to me that the effort around the common meals is such a major one, (and some of us are doing plenty of cooking and cleaning elsewhere!) that every participant should be expected to also contribute to the workpool, regardless of how much they do (or don't) elsewhere.
