Following on from this request.

The South Warwickshire Cohousing group are just starting out on the long
road to creating a cohousing community in the Midlands UK. information
people have posted on their web sites has been incredibly useful to us as
it helps us to describe what cohousing is like and some of the basic
processes.
However we are now starting to get onto the next stage and we need all
sorts of new stuff and if anyone has examples of the following and feels
like recycling their knowledge we would be very grateful.

o examples of organising agreements,
o spreadsheets for rule of thumb costings for different housing types and
densities.
o land use examples
o decision making process policies
o posters, brochures, handbooks etc.
o stuff like the work credit system mentioned above
o green stuff like info on water recycling, reed beds, geothermal power
etc.
o even stuff about ideas that you considered and rejected would be useful
as your reasoning might help us avoid long detours.

Really it would be good if there was a sort of shareware/freeware system
for this sort of knowledge. Then if we adopt a policy document from
someone elses we could credit you back in some way.

A community handbook/toolkit would be really useful.
I do have McCamant and Durrett - but other book reccomendations are also
appreciated.

In response to Cheryl's question I am wondering why there is too much
work? Are you trying to do stuff that could be postponed, or bought in?
if 'spontaneous' fun stuff is not happening do you need to have more
'organised' fun stuff?
