I just wanted to let you know about a project Santa Barbara Cohousing is
working on at the moment, and invite you to attend if you can!

Communities?
Do you want to learn more about them?

You are invited to attend a Cooperative Housing Book Study Series sponsored
by Santa Barbara Cohousing and The Santa Barbara Student Housing
Cooperative.  Join members of these groups, and other interested people of
our community, as we read and explore books that will help guide us through
the process of realizing our dreams for community.

Our first meeting will be held
Tuesday September 24, 2002
>From 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.
At the Franklin Center
1136 East Montecito Street, Santa Barbara

We have chosen The Cohousing Handbook by Chris Hanson to be our first
selection.  Copies of this book will be available for purchase at the first
meeting.  Or, you can order the book directly from the author at his
website, www.CohousingResources.com  The cost of the book is $15.

This book study is FREE and open to the public, but seating is limited, so
please contact us to reserve your space. Childcare will be provided upon
request.
