I would add the following idea to your thoughts. Sometimes the best course is to let ONE individual have control and do the thing, own it, and let the rest of us know if you need anything. The group that has MANY tools for making decisions is better off than one which uses only one, and tries to force it to work in places where it will not. I have been quoted as saying, A saw is good for cutting wood, it can be used to drive nails, but it is not designed to do so, and does so poorly. Large group Consensus is good for some things, and does other things poorly. It is wise to understand the limits of the tools you use, and how to use the right tool for the job at hand.
