We're still in the early stage of marketing our project but so far I've discovered that it's better to put the cohousing term out there. I started off suggesting to people that we not scare people off by using the 'community' word or put out in a press release about the cars being parked on the periphery of the project. But what I've seen so far is that the people who are attracted to cohousing are intrigued by those same 'scary' things. It's the cultural creatives that you want and they're not going to be scared off by the term cohousing. By all means, put it out there.
