Dear Judy, My name is Louise Rausa and I live in Sebastopol, CA, with my husband Bob. We are currently considered "non-resident members" of Two Acre Wood, a CoHousing community here in Sebastopol, and are on a sign up list for Yulupa CoHousing which will be built nearby in Santa Rosa. Both, by the way, are about one and one-half hours north of San Francisco. We, the Yulupians (as we call ourselves), have recently had a rather drastic increase in the prices of the units, which will not be built for at least another year... and there could be even further price increases. At any rate, several of us are starting to consider leaving beautiful, sunny, and oh-so-overpriced- and-expensive California for, perhaps, Oregon or Washington State. So, what I guess I'm really saying is that, yes, I would like to be included in any information on the progress you're making in Corvalis. An old friend from many years ago went to college there and loved it. Other than that, I know nothing else about it, but am looking forward to finding out more. My current e-mail address is LouiseRausa [at] earthlink.net. At some point relatively soon, it will change to LouiseRausa [at] sbcglobal.net, just in case the first address bounces. My phone number, just in case you're starting a file, is (707) 829-9675. Many thanks.
