One benefit of our Care Conference "program" is that encourages people to explicitly address their needs, rather than encouraging silent stoicism.

I was thinking of something more structured as a "program." We also have mechanisms where people can ask for support and ways of organizing support. I'm not sure what other "programs" would be necessary but I'm sure if they were they would be developed.

I didn't say they were "inappropriate". I was suggesting that perhaps the reason they weren't being discussed -- the concern of the post I was responding do -- is that discussion wasn't necessary.
