Most of our meetings are open, but our Conflict Resolution Team reserves
the right to hold a closed meeting or portion of one if they think they
should (I can't quote the exact policy), and the Finance Committee also has
some leeway to close a meeting or portion of one if certain kinds of items
are on the agenda requiring confidentiality. No doubt this power, like any
power, could be abused, but we trust those members to have the good of the
community in mind.
