21Feb2023 Hello cohousing-L / cohousers ---- I am at Gainesville Cohousing and we are looking into our requirements for becoming an officer of the board of directors (BOD) of our POA. Currently, this is limited to lot owners however, we do have, and may continue to have in the future, situations where a permanent resident member living in our community is not a lot owner. We could modify our bylaws to create a new "class" of members who are not lot owners but are still eligible to be a BOD officer. Do any communities have experience with this, or any relevant info to share, or opinions/referrals? Thank you! --- Richard Daley, Secretary, Gainesville Cohousing
