This is my first comment. Please let me know if I violate norms or etiquette. I’m responding to Sharon just to say that this is what I always write in on forms, as you said, “ 80 is not 65 just as 65 is not 50. Or 50 is not 35.” Maybe if more of us do, there will be changes as there are starting to be on gender self-identity. I am currently beginning to look at issues around Cohousing. Some of my concerns are diversity and inclusion, including age. While I can see some advantages of senior cohousing, I can’t imagine living without the energy and liveliness of younger people. Plus most of the communities seem to be west, while ideally, I’d want to be in the Northeast.
