We had trash chutes in an apartment building and it was very convenient. We
also had huge roaches, at least on my ground floor. I used a lot of
pesticides, not knowing that roaches are harmless and can be eliminated with
borax and other non-toxic materials. I began to experience strange symtoms.
When I moved to a new building without roaches, I was better, and didn't
break down completely until I moved to CA and used bug bombs for fleas. I
know most cohousers are hip to this, but just want to to be sure we all stay
well. Coheartedly, Anne
