Hi, folks!

I'm Steve Farley, a Berkeley, CA, graphic designer who recently with my wife
joined Tucson Cohousing in Tucson, AZ, since we are planning to move there
next Spring and was overjoyed to find a group there. The Tucson group hasn't
yet dealt with out-of-area members, but accepted us after I visited them in
August due to our enthusiasm and my offers to help any way I can -- design
work, research in the Northern California coho communities, etc. I am also
trying to participate in meetings via email using a proxy to express our
thoughts.

I'm interested--have other groups established standard procedures for out-of-
area members? What about issues like committee work, finances, blocking
consensus, or the ability to obtain a loan?

Thanks for the help!
