Only those who want to participate do and others go their own way. The advantage of a larger group is that a subset can celebrate and still have a good sized crowd. Any member can reserve the commonhouse for events. Our problem right now, for example, is that we only have 60 chairs so we have to limit Thanksgiving. Our members also bring family and friends to celebrations. In a smaller group it would be more obvious that only a few were attending.
